This past weekend at Pumpkin Fest, I met a local event band that is INCREDIBLE.  They are called Above the Bar.  Most bands that I have come across that cover popular songs are…um…not good.  But this band is great!  With excellent musicians and phenomenal vocals, they are high energy, have an amazing sound, and can get everybody in the place dancing.  If you are looking for a band for your wedding or other event, check out Above the Bar.

Matt and I have a booth at the Pumpkin Fest in Maineville tonight and tomorrow.  So if you’re in the area, and in the mood for some good fall, family fun…come see us.  There will be hayrides, a petting zoo, raffles, good food, fall games, etc, etc, etc.  And at our booth, you can enter to win a free portrait session in addition to other special offers that we’ll have.  We hope to see you there.

Our Maine Coon, Wolverine, has been getting mats with a vengence that Matt and I have tried unsuccessfully to control.  So we did the only thing we could do.  We had him shaved!  Now, thanks to Linda at Kings Veterinary Hospital, Wolfy now looks like a bobble-head doll.  Here are a few photos for your entertainment.

Matt and I are currently fostering two cats whose owners had to move and were unable to take them with them.  Their names are Tom and Jerry.  They are 5-year-old identical twins (but don’t worry…we can tell them apart.)  They are both up-to-date on shots, neutered, and front declawed!!  They are large, lovable furballs who just want to lay around be pet.

They come from a home that had other animals, but they have had a rough time adjusting to our home with our 2 cats and 2 dogs.  So we recommend that they go to a home with no other animals.
