One nice thing about being a professional photographer is the ability to, at any given moment, grab your professional grade camera and snap some cute shots of your own adorable dogs. I call these “Porch Sessions”.
Today, I got some pitty love on camera. Here are just a few quick snap shots of my Naula and our foster dog, Allison (who is still available for adoption.)
Here’s Naula’s Top Model pose…

These are photos I’ve taken in the past week or so of various critters in my own personal life.
First is Chief, my parents’ Boston Terrier. He is very stubborn and hates being in our studio….so we just have fun with it. Here is a sampling of his more humorous photos. He’s seething in that first one!

Then yesterday, whilst my husband and my mother-in-law were slaving in the kitchen…I was busy photographing my cat.

And I got some of Ivy too.

So it’s Thanksgiving and we put up our Christmas decorations today. We had a very lazy and relax Thanksgiving. Got up when we felt like it and ate dinner whenever it was done. It was nice.
During the day we put up our Christmas decorations (which I am really happy about. We haven’t had decorations the past couple of years because our animals tend to destroy them!) I’m so happy to have a festive house! Here is what our house looks like.
Here’s our tree. It’s fake and skinning…but again, I’m not risking it with all the critters.

And our wine lights above the kitchen doorway

Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas everybody!

Here’s another session from last weekend. This is Robbie Baker, his fiance Jess, his two kids Hayleigh and Paige, and their two dogs Harley and Dutch. We all met in Ault Park for a fun fall family session. These are some of my favorite pics…

Both Robbie and Jess’s fathers are military men. This was a shot they both really really wanted.
