Yesterday, I went to photograph a 10 pack of dogs.  That’s right!  You heard me.  TEN!!!!  Matt and Lindsay Fadely have 10 dogs currently in their home.  But only 5 of them are theirs!  Matt and Lindsay have two of the biggest hearts I’ve ever seen.  Even in a house packed full of their own animals, they still find room to foster homeless dogs and dogsit for friends and family.  Let me introduce you to their pack…

We’ll start with their own personal dogs.

Laurel (aka The Queen) - Laurel has had a really hard life.  She was rescued from a puppy mill.  She was bred over and over and over again until she couldn’t have any more litters.  Now she has cancer.  This is Lindsay’s baby and she will do anything to keep that dog happy and healthy.  This is Laurel digging a hole.  She was a lil camera shy!

Next is Buffet.  This is Matt’s baby.  Also a rescue.

This is Chance.  Doesn’t he look like my Ivy?

Murphy.  Can you tell I loved taking pictures of him?

And Sadie.  She was originally a foster dog.  But in the grand tradition of foster failure…she found herself a new home!

Now onto the fosters…

Molly.  This dog was thrown out of a moving car followed by a duffle bag that was filled with her 4 puppies.  The husband of one of Lindsay’s co-worker saw this, resisted the urge to chase down the car for a licence number to call in to the cops, and rescued the dogs instead.  Lindsay could not turn this dog and her puppies away.  All of Molly’s pups have been adopted and now Molly is waiting on her forever home!

Red.  Red was scheduled to be put down at the SPCA.  So instead, he went to live with Matt and Lindsay.

Whodey.  Whodey is a pit bull mix pup who was found with his sister (you’ll see her in a minute) in the middle of a road somewhere.  Again, a coworker of Lindsay’s found them.  He was gone most of the evening meeting a possible adoptive family.  This is what he did upon coming back to the house.

Roxy.  Whodey’s sister.  She’s been adopted…she’s just being dogsat for the weekend.

Lucky.  This is Lindsay’s very first dog.  He now lives with Lindsay’s mom, but still holds a special place in Lindsay’s heart.  He was also being dogsat for the weekend.
