Ok…I know…it’s been 4 days since we got home and I am just now blogging with photos from the weekend. But it’s been a crazy-busy week. So I don’t feel all that bad about it.
Now, I don’t have any wedding photos edited yet…so what you are about to see is all portrait work I did over the weekend. I’ll have some wedding photos for you in a few days. So let’s get started…
First, on Friday I shot my nephew Hunter’s 9 month pics. They went much better than his 6 month pictures. He was in a great mood and it was nice and overcast…so the shoot went very well.
Here he is getting his first driving lesson with “Grandpa Cool” (aka my dad).

And he loved looking out his grandma’s big window.

And finally…on a big swing.

I also snapped a few shots of one of my mom’s dogs. Meet Rebel, the German Shepherd.

Wedding Saturday - Photos Coming Soon
Then on Sunday, we got to visit our best friends, Adam & Corrie. I adore their kids and had to take many pictures.

This past weekend, Ashley Johnson Photography joined Reisenfeld & Associates to support No Paws Left Behind, a non-profit organization that helps the silent victims of foreclosure…the family pet. The first annual “Benefit in the Park” was held at Red Dog Pet Resort. There was a silent auction, a costume contest, food, and access to Red Dog’s dog run…among other things. It was a really fun event and we are proud to have been a part of it.
All edited photos are now up in a private gallery for those who attended. 20% of all print sales will be donated to No Paws Left Behind. Here is a preview of some of our favorite shots from the day. Enjoy!

This dog’s name is Ivy. I thought that was awesome. I’ve never met another Ivy before!!

Yesterday, I got to photograph Max & Mickey Kemme and their humans! They were a lot of fun to work with. Very energetic and happy canines. Here are some of my favorite shots from the shoot…

…she’s actually about 14 months. We got her 12 month session in a few weeks late.
Anyway…she had her session this afternoon…and she’s stinking adorable. Here are a few of my favorite shots…

And no 1 year session is complete without cake pictures…

This is what happens when a 14-month-old with cake and icing all over her hands does not want to wear the hat that you have placed on her head.
