I am so proud.  Two of my images have been chosen to be included in two of the newest Happy Tails Books. HTB puts together inspiring stories of dog rescues and adoptions as well as raises money and awareness for rescue groups throughout the country.  Please check them out! If you have a rescue story of your own…submit it! You might end up in a book too.
You can see my images on the front cover of the Pit Bull book and on the inside cover of the Dachshund book. You can preorder the the Dachshund book now, but the Pit Bull book is not available for preorder just yet. Keep checking back though. When you buy one of these books, Happy Tails makes a donation to a contributing dog rescue.Â

Today, while at Petpalooza, I met the most amazing pet artist. Her name is Ali and her company is called Ali’s Paw Prints. Now she doesn’t create your typical watercolor portraits. This is really cool modern graphic art. I’ve never seen anything like it.
She’s just getting started, but she’s already doing fantastic work! Please check out her website. And to my past clients, if you would like to use one of my images to have Ali create an art print of your pet, I will be happy to give you the image to do so!

Today Matt’s and my best friends (and good clients) left the fair city of Cincinnati to move to Illinois for some new ministry opportunities. While we are excited for what the future has in store for them, we are incredibly sad to see them go. The only comfort is that they will only be living about 45 minutes from our families, so it won’t be hard to visit them.
We went over to their home in Maineville today to help them pack their moving truck. Being a photographer, I couldn’t pass up the last opportunity I would have to photograph my “neice” and “nephew” for a while. Here are some of my favorite shots from this morning…
Zeke…my favorite lil ham!

This is my favorite shot from today…

This is typical Zeke…

And this is typical Ethne…camera shy and not smiling…

Zeke loves the movie “Cars”. So he was so excited to ride in the big truck. He actually thought that Lighting McQueen was going to be in the back.

And anything that Zeke does, Ethne has to do too…

Zeke likes to help his daddy and his Uncle Matt…

But in the traditional fashion of kids wanting to help and parents finding something better for them to do…the kids watched “Cars” to keep themselves busy during the packing of the truck…

Adam, Corrie, Zeke, Ethne, Bart, and yes, even Layla…we will miss you more than you will know (unless you are missing us that much too!)Â We wish only the best for you guys and we’ll see you in a few weeks.
