Hi, my name is Willow. I am a 2-year-old blue pit bull. I am very sweet and very quirky. While I get really excited and hyper when I first get out of my crate and go outside, I calm down and get very lazy really quickly. I spend most of my time laying around. I am very food motivated, but I have learned to sit and wait until you tell me to eat. While I don’t mind being in my crate, I’m gonna make you work to get me into it. But you can easily coax me in with a treat (like I said, I’m very food motivated.) I do very well with other dogs my size, but I sometimes have issues w/ male dogs and with dogs that are a lot bigger than me. I am great with children and while I’ve never tried to hurt a cat, I have a tendency to just stare at them.  (They are very interesting creatures, don’t you think?)
I was abandoned in a house in New Jersey before coming to Cincinnati to be a part of Bark Ark Bully Rescue, so if you walk out of the room while I’m in my crate, I may get a little upset, but can be easily quieted with a small correction.  Also, I do not like being in a highly chaotic home. I need something a little quieter. I like being around other animals, just not a TON of them.
I am spayed, up to date on shots, crate trained, potty trained (although I’m counting on you not to let me fail), and I know how to sit, lay down (sometimes) and wait. So if you are interested in meeting me, please contact my foster parents. Matt - OpRochester@hotmail.com or Ashley - AshleyJohnson654@gmail.com. Remember to check first and make sure your city doesn’t have an ordinance against pit bulls.

This weekend, Matt and I went home to Illinois to see family. I got to see my nephew for only the 2nd time. He’s about a week shy of 5 months. He’s got these gorgeous blue eyes and he’s as sweet as can be. I got the great priviledge of photographing him. Here are some of my favorite shots.

Look at those blue eyes!

So after months of looking, discussing options, and ultimately arguing…Matt and I finally settled on new carpet for the living room. Technically it’s just a remnant, but it looks so much nicer than our old cheapo rug from Walmart. We got it from Harry’s Corner…and we like it.
Here’s a shot of the new carpet.

And here’s Sophie sitting on it.

And by the way…Wolfy is much better. No vomiting or trips to the vet in over a week!

Warning:Â I am going to discuss gross pet ownership stuff…
For the past couple of days, Wolfy hasn’t been feeling so well. It started with some wicked vomiting on Thursday. He was drooling and licking his mouth a lot all night (you pet owners know that this is a sign of nausea.) Friday morning he wasn’t much better. So it was time for another trip to Kings Vet (note: we made 4 separate trips for 4 separate issues in a 7 day period over the last 2 weeks. Wolfy was one of those trips.) Luckily we didn’t have to do any x-rays or surgeries. But we are monitoring him over the weekend. While he has vomited once since being home, it wasn’t green…which is a good sign. And he is going poo…which is also a good sign.
I tend to be super neurotic and OCD about the care of my pets, particularly Wolfy due to his FeLV status. So, today I made sure to take about 100 frames of him. Here are a few of my favorites…

And I also took some of the dogs…

And I did some goofing off as well…
This is me. Or at least part of me.
