Sadly, Matt and I have lost another cat. We had to have Lily put down on Monday morning. Due to her feline leukemia positive status, her immune system was suppressed and she was more susceptable to secondary diseases. Like the other 2 that we have lost, her lungs began to fill with fluid and there was nothing that could be done.

It is times like these that I am so grateful for photography. We have photos of all the pets we have and had on our mantle. Photos are awesome because they capture moments in time into something tangible. It’s so much easier to remember when you have photographs to remind you. They say a picture is worth 1,000 words. But a great photograph is worth so much more than that. Here are some of my favorites of Lily. She was truly one of the most beautiful cats I’ve ever seen.
