Hello all! And welcome to the brand new AshleyJohnsonPhotography.com blog. We are very excited to add this new feature to our website. Please check back regularly for information on promotions and contests and to see some of our latest work.

In thinking about what I should write about in the first Ashley Johnson Photography blog ever…I realized that alot of you probably don’t know much about us other than we are photographers. So let me give you a little background.

Matt and I have been married for almost 4 years now. We met at Lincoln Christian College. After getting married, we moved to Rochester, New York. We lived there for a little over 2 years and then moved to the Cincinnati area. We now live with our two dogs, Addison and Ivy (both named after the Chicago Cubs) and our two cats, Wolverine and Lily (and no, Wolverine is not named after the UofM…he’s named after the X-Men character.) We do not have any human children at this time, only the 4-legged kind.

Matt is a web designer, and a darn good one. He designed my site and many others. You can see more of Matt’s web work at SimplyCreativeWebDesign.com. Matt is also an ordained pastor and currently the Community Life Pastor at the Orchard Church. In addition to my photography, I sell Lia Sophia jewelry. So if you are in the Cincinnati area and you want to have a jewelry party and get lots of free, totally awesome stuff…let me know!

Random facts? We both love wine, the Chicago Cubs, animals, football, Jason Bourne and of course..photography!
